SigningHub 10.0

New Features
SigningHub User Interface Redesign
The SigningHub interface has been completely remodelled to provide a more intuitive experience. The new user interface offers a streamlined experience for easier navigation, is visually appealing and user-friendly, and features significant improvements. The new design adopts a minimalist approach to reduce user load, minimise distractions, and enhance accessibility.
The new design embraces modern branding principles, where a single primary colour defines a brand. By integrating this primary colour throughout the interface, including all interactive elements, the SigningHub user interface becomes an extension of a customer’s brand identity. With fewer colours, the user interface becomes more user-friendly, ensuring better contrast and readability for all users, including those with visual impairments. SigningHub has also enhanced sidebar customisation, enabling users to consistently display their secondary brand colour, providing a personalised touch that is always visible.
Enhanced Branding
The SigningHub branding module has been simplified, allowing enterprise owners to easily configure primary, sidebar, and error colours with a visual interface. This ensures consistent application of your organisation’s colour palette, reinforcing brand identity.
The new colour palette offers a significant improvement by focusing on brand consistency and streamlined user experience. SigningHub now allows enterprise owners to create a UI that feels more aligned with their brand rather than SigningHub’s style. The new design offers a minimalist canvas—using natural shades of grey—allowing their brand colours, logos, and images to stand out prominently. This creates a cleaner, more professional, and modern look that reinforces brand identity while making the interface easier to navigate.
API First
SigningHub now exposes over 250 API endpoints to enable businesses to integrate even more closely with SigningHub to sign documents, configure Enterprise settings, check on workflow status, and much, much more.
SigningHub can now be deployed with no user interface, and all product features can be accessed via APIs to enable 100% integration into existing business applications.
Bulk Signing from the Document Viewer
Users can now bulk sign from right within the document viewer. This allows users to sign all signature fields within a single document in one step, enhancing workflow efficiency, reducing the number of clicks for users and improving productivity.
WCAG Compliance 2.0 Level AA
Ascertia is committed to creating a more inclusive digital signature experience for all users. We've carefully redesigned the SigningHub user interface to simplify the colour scheme and improve contrast, making it easier for users with visual impairments to read and navigate the platform.
This update not only enhances accessibility but also reduces distractions, allowing users to focus on the task at hand. By meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, we're ensuring that SigningHub is accessible to a wider range of users, including those with disabilities.
Improvements
OpenID Connect (OIDC) Enhancement (SHE-44850)
SigningHub has enhanced its OIDC integration to improve security and compatibility for client applications, introducing PKCE, state, and nonce parameters for secure signed responses. This update also supports seamless syncing of user information, including NID and email, along with signature authorisation for digital signing, enabling secure OIDC-based validation in SigningHub workflows.
Download Documents Within a Package as a PDF (SHE-41166)
SigningHub now offers users the option to download the documents within a package as a single PDF file from the document viewer screen.
Important Changes
The Quick Sign (SigningHub Lite) deployment option is not supported in this release but will be reintroduced in the upcoming version.
The Mobile Web project has been discontinued. The new SigningHub front end is fully responsive and optimized for mobile and iPad use.
Authentication via the following providers—BankID, itsme, and Feja Mobile—will no longer be functional with SigningHub 10.0, these providers can be added to the system using OpenID Connect.
Bulk local side signing using ADSS Server is now compatible with ADSS Go Sign desktop version 8.3.7.
After upgrading, users must manually update the CSP headers in SigningHub Admin to ensure the system functions properly. Refer to the SigningHub Admin Guide under Manage SigningHub Admin Configurations > Configure Global Settings > Content Security Policy. Be sure to replace the placeholder URLs with your application URLs before applying the CSP settings.
Deprecated Features
This release of SigningHub deprecates the v3 SigningHub API.
When accessing SigningHub Web in mobile view, the system now automatically opens the app if installed; otherwise, users can seamlessly continue on the mobile web version.
The "Collapse panel" functionality for the document viewer is no longer supported in the new SigningHub Web design, as panels have been removed.
Real-time notifications are no longer supported as the Desktop Web has transitioned to an API-based structure, which does not accommodate this feature.
If PKCE or NONCE is enabled, using the latest API server with an older version of the SigningHub app will cause the OIDC login and signing authentication process to fail.
Support for Internet Explorer has been discontinued; SigningHub is no longer compatible with this browser.
