Reset Password of an Account

Reset an account's password

  1. Click the 'Accounts' option from the navigation panel. The 'Accounts' screen will appear.

  2. Search for the account whose password you want to reset.

  3. Now click the menu icon adjacent to it, and select the 'Reset Password' option.

  4. A confirmation dialogue will appear. Click Yes to send a password change email to the user, from where they can change their account password.

  1. After being prompted to reset the password, the user will not be able to set as password, the following:

    1. Their user account (i.e. Email Address)

    2. The last used password

    3. Their full user name

  2. The system will log out the user from all the devices in case of successful password reset.

  3. As per the configuration of the "Previous Password Retention Count", in Global Setting>Default Password Policy in SigningHub Admin, the user may be restricted from switching back to any of the retained passwords.
