Unlock an Account

When a user has crossed the defined number (i.e. threshold count) of invalid login attempts, SigningHub auto-locks their account and lists it under the Locked Accounts. The account remains locked till the defined duration as set in the Global Settings. However, you can overrule the predefined locked duration and unlock a locked account as required.

Unlock a locked account

  1. Click the 'Accounts' option from the navigation panel. The 'Accounts' screen will appear.

  2. Click on the menu in the search bar, and navigate to the 'Default Searches' heading. Click on 'Locked Accounts' to view all the locked accounts. Alternatively, you could search for the locked account.

  3. Now click the menu icon adjacent to it, and select the 'Unlock Account' option.

  4. A confirmation message will be displayed. Click 'Yes' and the account will be unlocked.

  1. A user can not log in with SigningHub ID through SigningHub Desktop Web, API, Mobile Web, Mobile App or Native Apps, as long as their account is locked.
