Clone a Service Plan

Clone a service plan

At times, you need to create multiple service plans with a few variations. The best way to achieve this is to create a service plan with all the configurations and then make clones of it. You can then edit each service plan clone as per requirement. For this:

  1. Click the 'Service Plan' option from the navigation panel. The 'Service Plans' screen will appear.

  2. Click the three dots against the service plan you wish to clone.

  3. Click on 'Clone' to display the 'Clone Service Plan' dialogue.

    • Specify the name of the clonal service plan as required. The name must be different from the original service plan name.

    • Tick the "Public" check box to make this service plan available for public access, or keep it unticked to make it a private service plan. The public service plans are created for cloud-based deployments, while private service plans are created for on-premises deployments.

  4. Click the "Save" button.

  1. By default, the clone dialogue will display the same name and the "Public" check box-related setting as of the source service plan. However, you can change these settings as required.
